About UsIn the Canadian north out west in Alberta lies a grassland plain which raises good grass for stock and fine horses. My dedication is to preserve the heritage of the foundation appaloosa in a breeding program that has substantial seed stock from foundation lines to save a breed that is diminishing in out crossing to other breeds. The appaloosa that I hope to obtain is the elegant, long muscled, balanced framed horse of their legendary fore-bearers; bred for endurance, with kind dispositions, and conformation that follows their Spanish ancestry-the morphology of a great saddle horse. I am committed to promote one of the greatest horses made by God, and as a breed it has unique characteristics; the "Phippen" refined conformation as a model, distinctive colored coat patterns, and the shuffling or single-foot gait. I will breed for quality not quantity in our horses to give attention to each horse in training in the arena and for the trail. |
